El Salvador La Florida Natural Dry from Coffee Del Sol is a medium roast bean from famed coffee farmer and producer Aida Batlle, a fifth generation coffee farmer whose yields are highly sought after.

The bag of El Salvador La Florida whole beans when opened was aromatic and inviting. We ground the whole beans and brewed the coffee in a French Press, tasting the coffee with and without half-and-half. The coffee flavor is unique to any coffee I have tasted before. The coffee is smooth with no bitterness and there are wonderful fruit and lemon grass flavors in every sip. There is a thicker mouth feel when drinking this brew which is not typical for a medium roast coffee, it is not as thick as an espresso but you know you’ve had a substantial cup of coffee when drinking El Salvador La Florida. The flavors keep changing and surprising you as you drink this delicious coffee. If you are looking for a unique tasting medium roast I highly recommend trying this flavorful coffee.
